Jacques Darbaud’s metal, plaster and porcelain chandelier, France early 21st century. Plaster birds perch around a metal and plaster frame. Perforated porcelain cups hold the bulbs. Excellent Condition. Jacques Darbaud aka Darbaud is a sculptor, born in 1943 in Provence. He studied in Paris at Académie de la Grande Chaumière, followed by Académie André Lhote. He initially worked as a decorator for cinema and television and in 1993 he went back to the South of France and opened his own sculpture studio. His work is recognised worldwide.
