SOLD – Iron and Fur Throne Stool with Spears

Heavy cast iron legs flank a “fur” stool backed by three spears. The legs in particular reference the Mid-Century Modern work of Giocometti. While the materials and tribal theme are in the manner of Garouste and Bonetti’s “Barbarian” pieces from their Parisian modern work. Makes a highly decorative occasional chair or corner chair with modern tribal styling.
