“Access” slatted oak bench for Berga Form, by Danish designers, Johannes Foersom and Peter Hiort-Lorenzen. Since 1977 Foersom and Lorenzen have established themselves as two of the leading furniture designers in Scandinavia, receiving in Sweden the Bruno Mathsson Award and the distinction of ”Excellent Swedish Design.” With perfectly executed ergonomics in slatted hardwood with continuous arm, it is as much a sofa as it is a bench. A feeling for craftsmanship and the opportunities provided by wood are clearly evident in this hard-to-find piece. Denmark, 2003.
