SOLD- Edouard Aimé Arnould Art Nouveau Wall Mirror, France, 1900

Art Nouveau wall hung mirror circa 1900 by renowned French jewelry artist Edouard Aimé Arnould. Cast patinated framework depicting a woman and her canine overlooking a grazing herd of sheep. Stamped artist’s name appears on top side edge along with the casting foundry’s marking etched into the castings front side surface. Beautiful and heavyweight the mirror frame is detailed with classic Art Nouveau motifs and artisan craft techniques. Solid wood backing is affixed to the mirror with original screws and hold the mirror securely in place. The piece is in very excellent condition showing little wear on any surface. France, 1900.
