SOLD – Faux Bamboo Cheval Standing Mirror, France, 1880s

Late 19th century cheval mirror in the English tradition, but found in France, Louis Phillipe styling. Carved and stained elm replicates bamboo, framing a full length mirror that pivots in the frame. Subtle and beautiful patina to the original glass. Castors at feet, France, circa 1880.
